Your condition will not improve any faster, and your risk of side effects will increase. Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same time each day.It is important to continue taking this medication even if you feel well. Do not stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor. Some conditions may become worse when the drug is suddenly stopped. Your dose may need to be gradually decreased.This medication may cause dependence, especially if it has been used regularly for an extended time or if it has been used in high doses. In such cases, withdrawal reactions (e.g., nervousness, headache, numbness, tingling, trouble sleeping, nightmares) may occur if you suddenly stop this drug. To prevent withdrawal when stopping extended/regular treatment with this drug, gradually reduce the dosage as directed. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details, and report any withdrawal reactions immediately.It may take 1 to 2 weeks to feel a benefit from this drug and 4 weeks to feel the full benefit of this medication. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens.

Permite ( Nix Dermal, Generic Permethrin )

Nix Dermal Cream is indicated for the treatment of scabies and crab lice. Treatment of scabies:Adults and children over 2 years old should apply the cream to the skin over the whole body including the palms and soles, but not the head and face. Pay particular attention to the areas between the fingers and toes (including under the finger and toe nails), wrists, arm-pits, external genitals and buttocks. Babies and children under 2 years old should be treated as above and also have their necks, faces, ears and scalps treated. Avoid the area around the mouth (as the cream could be licked off) and around the eyes. Children between 2 months and 2 years should only be treated under medical supervision.Elderly (over 65 years old) should apply as directed for adults and children over 2 years old but should also include their necks, faces, ears and scalps. Care must be taken to avoid applying Dermal Cream to areas close to the eyes.The cream should be left on for at least 8 hours, then washed off with soap and water not more than 12 hours later. Re-apply Cream to hands if they are washed with soap and water within 8 hours of treatment. The following table shows how much cream should normally be used: Adults (including Elderly) and children over 12 years: Up to one tube. A few adults may need to use an additional tube, but do not apply more than two tubes. Children aged 6 to 12 years: Up to half a tube Children aged 1 to 5 years: Up to a quarter of a tube Babies aged 2 months to 1 year: Up to an eighth of a tube The dosage recommendations given in this leaflet are only intended as a guide to treatment. Because individuals can vary so much in size you might find that you need to apply slightly more or slightly less cream to completely cover the body. This will not harm you or reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.Treatment of crab lice:Not recommended for persons under 18 years of age. The elderly should be treated under medical supervision. Adults 18 years and over: Sufficient cream should be applied to cover the pubic region, peri-anal (around the anus), inner thighs down to the knees and any hair that grows up from the pubic area to the chest/stomach.One (30 g) tube is more than sufficient to treat one hairy adult. It is recommended that up to a third of a tube is used to treat the pubic region, peri-anal region, thighs, stomach and chest. Not more than two thirds of the tube should be needed for complete treatment. For relatively hair-free individuals proportionately less cream will be required.The cream should be left on the skin for 24 hours. The treatment areas should then be thoroughly washed. Any facial hair (beards, moustaches) and eyelashes should be checked for the presence of live lice and eggs. Cream should be applied to any facial hair, carefully avoiding eyes. If live lice or eggs are found on the eyelashes they should be removed carefully using tweezers. Cream should not be applied to the eye lashes because the cream can cause moderate eye irritation.

This drug is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and heart failure. High blood pressure reduction helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. This drug works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels, causing them to widen. If you have any questions regarding this information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.Take this medication by mouth, with or without food, as directed by your doctor. Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same time(s) each day.If you are using the suspension, shake the bottle well for at least 10 seconds before each dose. Use a medication measuring device or spoon to carefully measure the prescribed dose. Do not use a household spoon because you may not get the correct dose.Do not take potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium without talking to your doctor or pharmacist first. This medicine can raise your potassium levels, which rarely can cause serious side effects such as muscle weakness or very slow heartbeats. Tell your doctor immediately if these effects occur.The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. For the treatment of high blood pressure, it may take 4 weeks before the full benefit of this drug occurs.It is important to continue taking this medication even if you feel well. Most people with high blood pressure do not feel sick.

Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) may be used to prevent low body levels (deficiency) of this vitamin. Ascorbic acid is needed to maintain the health of skin, cartilage, teeth, and blood vessels, and to promote proper bone growth. Most people who eat a normal diet do not need extra ascorbic acid.Vitamin C deficiency may occur in certain health conditions (e.g., poor nutrition, diet lacking citrus fruit/vegetables, alcoholism). Serious ascorbic acid deficiency may cause a condition called scurvy, resulting in bleeding problems, tooth loss, and heart problems, among others.Ascorbic acid is also used to help preserve the health of body cells (as an antioxidant).How to use Ascorbic Acid OralTake this vitamin by mouth, usually 1 to 2 times daily. If this vitamin is prescribed by your doctor, take exactly as directed. Take each dose with a full glass (8 ounces or 240 milliliters) of water. Do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking a dose. If you are taking the chewable tablets or wafers, chew them thoroughly. If you are taking the delayed-release capsules or tablets, swallow them whole. Do not crush or chew them. If you are taking the lozenges, place the lozenge in your mouth and allow it to slowly dissolve. If you are taking the powder, mix it thoroughly in the proper amount of liquid and stir well. Drink all of the liquid immediately. Do not prepare a supply for future use. If you are using a liquid or powder form, carefully measure your dose using a medication-measuring device or spoon. Do not use a household spoon because you may not get the correct dose.Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.Use this vitamin regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same time(s) each day.If your doctor has prescribed this product to treat a specific problem, tell him/her if your condition persists or worsens.

Voritrol ( Vfend, Generic Voriconazole )

Voriconazole is used to treat serious fungal infections such as invasive aspergillosis (a fungal infection that begins in the lungs and spreads through the bloodstream to other organs) and esophageal candidiasis (infection by a yeast-like fungus that may cause white patching in the mouth and throat). Voriconazole is in a class of antifungal medications called triazoles. It works by slowing the growth of the fungi that cause infection. Voriconazole comes as a tablet and a suspension (liquid) to take by mouth. It is usually taken every 12 hours on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 1 hour after a meal. To help you remember to take voriconazole, take it at around the same times every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take voriconazole exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.If you are taking voriconazole suspension, shake the closed bottle for about 10 seconds before each use to mix the medication evenly. Do not mix the suspension with any other medications, water, or any other liquid. Always use the measuring device that comes with your medication. You may not get the right amount of medication if you use a household spoon to measure your dose.At the beginning of your treatment, you may receive voriconazole by intravenous (into a vein) injection. When you begin taking voriconazole by mouth, your doctor may start you on a low dose and increase your dose if your condition does not improve. Your doctor also may decrease your dose if you experience side effects from voriconazole. The length of your treatment depends on your general health, the type of infection you have, and how well you respond to the medication. If you are taking voriconazole for esophageal candidiasis, you will take it for at least 14 days. If you are taking voriconazole for aspergillosis, you may take it for several months or longer. Continue to take voriconazole even if you feel well. Do not stop taking voriconazole without talking to your doctor.

It is usually instilled in the affected eye(s) three times a day. Use brimonidine eye drops at around the same times every day, and try to space your three daily doses about 8 hours apart. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Use brimonidine eye drops exactly as directed. Do not use more or less of them or use them more often than prescribed by your doctor.Brimonidine eye drops may control your condition, but will not cure it. Continue to use brimonidine eye drops even if you feel well. Do not stop using brimonidine eye drops without talking to your doctor.To use the eye drops, follow these steps: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Use a mirror or have someone else put the drops in your eye. Remove the protective cap. Make sure that the end of the dropper is not chipped or cracked. Avoid touching the dropper tip against your eye or anything else. Hold the dropper tip down at all times to prevent drops from flowing back into the bottle and contaminating the remaining contents. Lie down or tilt your head back. Holding the bottle between your thumb and index finger, place the dropper tip as near as possible to your eyelid without touching it. Brace the remaining fingers of that hand against your cheek or nose. With the index finger of your other hand, pull the lower lid of the eye down to form a pocket. Drop the prescribed number of drops into the pocket made by the lower lid and the eye. Placing drops on the surface of the eyeball can cause stinging. Close your eye and keep it closed for a few minutes. Do not blink. Replace and tighten the cap right away. Do not wipe or rinse it off. Wipe off any excess liquid from your cheek with a clean tissue. Wash your hands again.
